After completing a trek to Everest Base Camp in 2008, Ray and Di always said that they would like to return and summit a ‘real mountain’.
On 10th April 2017 this dream will be realised when we embark on a 24 day expedition that will include the summiting of both Mera Peak (6476m) and Island Peak (6189m) as well as crossing the Amphu Laptsa Pass (5800m). Although individually Mera and Island Peaks are both popular trekking peaks in Nepal, very few people attempt both on the same trek.
We created this page because we are inspired by the work of Stepping Stone House. Our Nepal expedition will be tough and gruelling, but not as tough as trying to start your young adult life, living on the streets.
Please donate to our Stepping Stone House Nepal Challenge campaign so Stepping Stone house can continue to provide reliable housing and much needed development support for homeless youth.
The more people who know about the good work of Stepping Stone House, the greater their impact, so please share this page with your friends and family.
Your generosity is greatly appreciated.
Your friends, Ray and Di
