Abseil for Youth is Sir David Martin Foundation's
annual major fundraiser. Each year hundred's of brave people face their fears to abseil down a 33 storey/135 meter Sydney CBD skyscraper to help raise much needed funds for
Triple Care Farm, a youth rehab and support program located in NSW. The
Farm helps young people across Australia overcome drug and alcohol addictions, care and treatment for mental health illness, and support to find stable accommodation, further education and opportunities for employment.
By signing up to be part of our Abseil for Youth fundraiser, your bravery, enthusiasm and fundraising efforts will be making a huge difference to over 100 a young Australians who call upon Triple Care Farm each year to help them transform their lives.
The Sir David Martin Foundation through Abseil for Youth 2018 aims to raise $280,000 for Triple Care Farm. The cost for just one young person to complete the 12 week program at Triple Care Farm is $28,000. We suggest asking your family, friends and network to support you and your abseil by making the following donation amounts to your page that will change the lives of young people who have next to nothing prior to attending Triple Care Farm;
- $50.00 covers the cost of a counselling session for a young person at Triple Care Farm that is suffering chronic mental health issues.
- $80.00 gives a young person with a substance abuse issue, often due to no fault of their own, therapy sessions to turn their lives around at Triple Care Farm.
- $100.00 provides a young person with Vocational and Education training session at Triple Care Farm to assist them get back on their feet, make a life for themselves and contribute positively to society.
Every dollar you raise will have a direct impact on the lives of hundreds of young Australians and their families who rely on programs such as Triple Care Farm every year.
