About Gyalwa Dzogchenpa City Centre - Adelaide

Foundation Membership

It is our great joy and honour to announce that His Eminence the 7th Dzogchen Rinpoche, Jigme Losel Wangpo, has given permission for the first City Centre directly linked to the Dzogchen lineage holder outside of Tibet and India.

This will be in Adelaide, Australia, and important for the lineage. We are honoured that His Eminence has extended involvement to the whole International Sangha, family and friends through Foundation Membership.

Membership is a one-off contribution of $100 AUD and you can share this auspicious tendrel and great merit in being able to participate in supporting this first Dzogchen City Centre. $100 AUD is about 62 Euro, 71 Swiss Franc, £55 or $71 USD.

His Eminence is painting a special calligraphy for the new Centre. All Foundation Members will receive a copy of the calligraphy and a name will be drawn to receive the original.

Members’ names will be handwritten on a certificate at the Centre and, for those with emails, there will be an annual newsletter.

We therefore encourage you to take this special opportunity to participate in establishing the new City Centre and spreading the teachings in all ten directions!

“Every good action, such as generosity, will bring spiritual merit, this is your benefit for the future, if you believe it or not, it is going to help you anyway.”

H.E. Dzogchen Rinpoche, Jigme Losel Wangpo

About Shenpen Australia

Shenpen is a world-wide network of volunteer organisations that support the work of Dzogchen Shri Senha Charitable Society (DSSCS), an Indian registered charity.

DSSCS specialises in healthcare, educational and social welfare projects for the Dhondenling Tibetan settlement and the local Indian community in Karnataka state, South India. Guided by Dzogchen Rinpoche, the international sangha have established Shenpen in America, Australia, France, Germany, Holland, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

Shenpen also helps preserve the unique cultural and Buddhist spiritual heritage of Tibet and hosts Dzogchen Rinpoche's international teaching tours every year.

The word shenpen comes from the Tibetan shen la phenpa, which literally means to bring benefit to others. Dzogchen Rinpoche has dedicated his life to charitable service and works tirelessly to improve the quality of life of so many people. As an example of wisdom in action, Dzogchen Rinpoche guides his students so that their lives can make a positive difference and bring lasting benefit to all.

Shenpen Australia is a not for profit organisation. It was registered in 2006 in Australia (Shenpen Incorporated, Incorporation No A39025).
