Why we are supporting Spinal Cord Injuries Australia

Our Story

SCIA’s Customer Experience team is raising much needed funds for Spinal Cord Injuries Australia by participating in The Big Day Back! Each of the Customer Experience staff members are currently putting together a mystery box and will bring them into the Little Bay office on Monday the 3rd of September for you to view. We will be selling tickets at the Little Bay Office from Monday 3 September to Wednesday 5 September for $5 each or 3 for $10 and you can choose which mystery box to put your tickets towards. Maybe you want to buy one ticket for each mystery box or maybe you want to put all your eggs in one basket it's up to you :) The winners will be drawn on the 5th of September which is International Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Day! If you have won and you are not there on the day you will be notified by email. If you would just like to make a donation to SCIA you can do so via this page!

About The Big Day Back

International Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Day is the 5 September – a day that promotes disability awareness and inclusion across the globe.

Join us in backing people with spinal cord injuries by organising a fundraising activity at your work, school or in your community to raise money and awareness. If 5 September does not suit you – anytime in September is great!

Every dollar you raise will bring us closer to buying more life changing equipment for SCIA’s national exercise program, NeuroMoves.

At NeuroMoves every little improvement is celebrated as a Big Day. We know small changes can make a huge impact on someone’s life - from regaining the ability to hold a fork to feed yourself to improving strength and endurance to play with your kids.
