Why I am supporting Humpty Dumpty Foundation

My Story

I am taking part in 1200kms for Kids 2018 to raise much needed funds for Humpty Dumpty Foundation. Their work is really important, and I want to do what I can to help. But there is only so much I can do on my own. You can help too, by donating to my page. Any amount you can give makes a difference! You can also support me by encouraging others to get involved, too. Please email the link to my page to your friends and family, or share it on social media. Thank you for your generosity and support -- it means a lot to me. Together we can help Humpty Dumpty Foundation create the world we want to see.

About 1200kms for Kids 2018

The 1200kmsforkids Charity Bike Ride was conceived back in 2005 by Gary Richardson and Trevelyan Bale. The two friends were looking for a way to give back to the hospitals that had effortlessly helped their sick children.

Over a beer or two, the idea was born to form a group and cycle 1,200 kilometres in 7 days to raise as much money as possible for the Humpty Dumpty Foundation and the Royal Children’s Hospital Brisbane.

To date, all of the $1,720,000 raised by 1200kmsforkids has gone to the Humpty Dumpty Foundation and the Children's Hospital Foundation, Brisbane and helps fund:

• Lifesaving medical equipment

• Research programs

• Pediatric training

• Volunteer services

• Children entertainment services

For more information on the ride and this amazing group of cyclists please go to www.1200kmsforkids.com or email hello@1200kmsforkids.com

About my cause: Humpty Dumpty Foundation

The Humpty Dumpty Foundation has been providing support for children's services since 1996. Humpty raises funds to purchase vital/life-saving medical equipment for Neonatal Units (Newborn Care) and Paediatric Wards (toddlers and children to 16 years) in over 380 hospitals and health service centres across Australia.

We would all like to believe that our hospitals have all the necessary equipment they need to look after our children in an emergency, but put simply, they don’t.

The Humpty Dumpty Foundation is a charity that helps the most vulnerable people in our community: our children.

Thank you for choosing to support Humpty and for helping kids in hospital.
