Show Your True Colours for kids with cancer
Footy Colours Day is a national fundraising campaign held during the month of September where participants are encouraged to wear their favourite team’s colours and host an event at their school, organisation, group or club to raise funds for kids with cancer.
Funds raised through Footy Colours Day help young learners continue with their education while receiving treatment for cancer through Fight Cancer Foundation’s education support programs.
The programs were developed in 2005 to address the gap in educational support for kids and young people living with cancer.
Today, the programs operate in major paediatric hospitals in Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia, with plans to expand to other hospitals to ensure no child or young person living with cancer is educationally disadvantaged by their illness.
Make a difference in the lives of kids living with cancer by wearing your team's colours with pride this year!
