We are taking part in Purple Bra Day..... And our tradesmen have agreed to wear a purple bra for the full week! We are taking part in Purple Bra Day to raise much needed funds for Breast Cancer Care WA. Unfortunately this year the A Man At Hand team were directly impacted by breast cancer with the diagnosis of Caroline, Leon's wife. We found out first hand about the amazing support provided by Breast Cancer Care WA. Their work is really important, and we want to do what we can to help. But there is only so much we can do on our own. You can help too, by donating to our page. Any amount you can give makes a difference! You can also support us by encouraging others to get involved, too. Please email the link to our page to your friends and family, or share it on social media. Approximately 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lives. That is approx. 16,000 per year, with approx. 140 men each year also. Approx 800 young women (20-39) are also diagnosed each year. Unfortunately Caroline, along with many other mums of young children in Perth, fit into this category. Thank you for your generosity and support -- it means a lot to us. Together we can help Breast Cancer Care WA provide support to the thousands of impacted women (& men) every year.
