My Story

I am taking part in Blackmores Sydney Running Festival 2018 to raise much needed funds for We Run for Paul. Their work is really important, and I want to do what I can to help. But there is only so much I can do on my own. You can help too, by donating to my page. Any amount you can give makes a difference! You can also support me by encouraging others to get involved, too. Please email the link to my page to your friends and family, or share it on social media. Thank you for your generosity and support -- it means a lot to me. Together we can help We Run for Paul create the world we want to see.

About my cause: We Run for Paul

Over 5 months ago a valued member of the Coca-Cola Amatil family, Paul Curgenven, was involved in a cycling accident which completely changed the direction of both his and his family’s lives.

Paul has been a member of the Amatil family for 20 years and throughout his career, has been renowned for going above and beyond to help those around them, each and every day. It’s now time for all of us to give a little back.

Paul has sustained a heavy head injury spending 2 months in a coma. In the last few weeks, he has regained consciousness and is making steady and consistent progress towards recovery. He is showing strong and positive signs however, like many of his rides, the journey will be long and tough for Paul and the Curgenven family.

On behalf of the Amatil Family, we are proud to support the #WeRunForPaul fundraising efforts and raise funds to support Paul’s ongoing rehabilitation and to help relieve some of the stress and burden that his family is enduring during this difficult time.
