My Story

Hi, I will be running a half marathon on a Sunday morning and will be aiming to raise money for Neura. Neura does a lot of work with neurological research with the aim of preventing neurological diseases and conditions. This is important to me as i have witnessed some of the healthiest and happiest people i know be affected by these conditions. It's unfair, cruel, and at the moment a lot of these are incurable. A lot of progress has been made in recent years and i believe with further research we can go even further. I thank you in advance for any donations you can make.

About my cause: NeuRA

Neuroscience Research Australia (NeuRA) is an independent, not-for-profit research institute based in Sydney, Australia. As a leader in brain and nervous system research, our goal is to prevent, treat and cure brain and nervous system diseases, disorders and injuries through medical research.

The importance of neuroscience research

Every year, one in five Australians is struck down with a major brain or mind disorder. At Neuroscience Research Australia, we are dedicated to reducing this burden on our community. For many affected by these devastating diseases, medical research offers the only hope.
