First up, thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
As most of you know I’m moving to Australia to spend the rest of the year - working and travelling. To kickstart my new adventure I'll be taking part in the Blackmores Sydney Half Marathon on Sunday 16th September.
From a young age it’s been my wish and dream to travel the world. Growing up I’ve worked hard and been able to make this childhood wish a reality for myself. I’ve spent the last two years travelling and working in Southeast Asia and it’s honestly been the best life experience.
But the truth is, many children who might also share this dream may never see it come true because they are in a constant battle, fighting against life-threatening medical conditions.
So I’ve decided to run for Make-A-Wish Foundation to give all those sick children with life-threatening medical conditions, a better chance to make their wishes come true.
Since 1985, Make-A-Wish Australia has granted more than 8,500 wishes to sick kids and teens.
Each wish is designed to build anticipation and resilience to help a child in the fight for their health. The wishes give these kids hope for the future, strength to face the challenges of their illness and joy from their wish experience.
By donating to my page you’ll be helping to make wishes for sick kids and teens come true.
You can also support me by encouraging others to get involved, too. Please email the link to my page to your friends and family, or share it on social media.
Thank you for your generosity and support -- it means a lot to me.
