My Story

On September the 16th, I am taking part in a half marathon to raise much needed funds for Cure Brain Cancer Foundation at the Blackmores Sydney Running Festival 2018. In 2011, I witnessed the pain and suffering of my good friend Nathan Lucas as he lost his father to a long and gruelling battle of brain cancer. As a result, I have chosen this particular foundation because of the amazing work they do in raising money and awareness for such a violent form of cancer. You can help me by donating to my page. I aim to raise $1000 and any amount will be greatly appreciated.

About my cause: Cure Brain Cancer Foundation

Cure Brain Cancer is the peak organisation for brain cancer research, advocacy and awareness in Australia, with a time-critical mission to increase five-year survival from the current 20% to 50% by 2023.

With a strong patient focus we forge global collaborations, fund innovative research and are bringing world-class clinical trials to Australia to give children and adults with brain cancer access to new treatments faster.
