I am taking part in Blackmores Sydney Running Festival 2018 in support of all the legends in #teamblackdog who raise much needed funds for Black Dog Institute every year. I am constantly in awe of the many people that set amazing physical goals, push their personal limits and achieve greatness, all in the name of raising money to further support our work. This year, I've been inspired to join them. I haven't been very active over the last five years and my physical and mental health has suffered. So my big personal goal is to go from the couch to 10km, as a way of saying thank you to the amazing community of fundraisers that make up #teamblackdog. I’ll be hitting the pavement with them, experiencing the highs and lows of training, the blisters and high-fives, and raising awareness and money for mental health research.
