My Story

ALRIGHTY THE TEAM NAME IS: THE RUNNING JOKE Featuring - Dena Ross, Liz Murray, Courtney Milone, Bridie Hill, Georgia Mitchell, Samantha Debs, Lidya Saliba and Nicole Watt It's pretty simple. Mental health needs more recognition and we intend to raise money for it and partake in the Blackmores Running Festival 2018. Anything you can do, donate to our page, share the fundraising page post, or even send a message of support would be greatly appreciated! Mental illness is not something to be afraid of and something that needs to be talked about more often. It's okay to be not okay, there is no shame in mental illness. That's all from us, thank you for even taking the time to read this. <3

About my cause: beyondblue

3 million people in Australia are living with anxiety or depression. Every day, nearly eight people take their own lives.

beyondblue provides information and support to help every person in Australia achieve their best possible mental health, whatever their age and wherever they live.

Most people in Australia have some experience with anxiety and depression or related disorders, whether it is personal or via family, friends or work colleagues. beyondblue’s work is aimed at achieving an Australian community that understands anxiety and depression, empowering all people in Australia, at any life-stage, to seek support. beyondblue raises awareness, reduces stigma and ensures people have access to the information they need to support recovery, management and resilience.

beyondblue is a national, independent, not-for-profit organisation and a bipartisan initiative of the Australian, state and territory governments.

beyondblue works in partnership with health services, schools, workplaces, universities, media and community organisations, as well as people living with depression/anxiety and their carers, to bring together expertise and provide tools and resources.

For information on anxiety, depression and suicide prevention, visit or call the beyondblue Support Service on 1300 22 4636.
