The Father and Son charity run is back, it is the third year the charity run has been running.
A bit late this year, but it is always better late than never.
A little of flashback of previous years.
Year 2015, USD $1258 for Indonesia`s underprivileged children (HORE-House of Reading)
Year in 2016 accumulation of AUD $ 2355 for Sydney Children Hospital
Last year they did 2x 10Ks, 2x 9Ks, 2x Full marathons, and 1x ultra 100K.
This year the run series will feature 2x 4k, 2x5k 4x10k, 2x Half marathons and 1x Full marathon, with the total distance of 152km, thus the target of $1520.
While last year's charity run was to mark their emmigration to Australia, this year charity run will mark a wonderful year of Sydney life, and they are running Full Team as a family.
Exelina has debuted her first official run on her birthday last July by running 5km on her 5th birthday. A tradition called HBR (Happy Birthday Run).
This year Eugene has been participating in running events more than his father and ever. Not all in smooth rails, for once he stumbled at the start and (minorly) injured his shoulder. But he is learning everything happens for a greater cause.
The Father will do the marathons with not too much preparation, but with the constant spirit of their charity work. While the son will give it a try for his first ever half marathon distance. Thus they all run, sweat, loved ones watch, and simply donate.
Family members, friends, colleagues are encouraged to donate AUD $ 10 for every Km that they run, thus the target of 152 Km x10 =AUD $1520

You can also support me by encouraging others to get involved, too. Please email the link to my page to your friends and family, or share it on social media.
Thank you very much for all your constant support, year to year, to make this endure, and let the good rool on!
