Throughout my life I’ve lost many people I loved to cancer, I’ve seen the pain it can cause not just to individuals, but to their family and friends.
So, on September 17th I’ll be running my first half marathon to raise money for Redkite – a charity that is close to my heart.
Throughout my grandpa’s cancer treatment, we all became emotionally and physically drained, and to have a support network constantly checking in meant more than I can describe.
Redkite provides essential support to children and young adults with cancer, and the family and support network who care for them. They’re there throughout the whole cancer journey, from the moment of diagnosis until after the treatment finishes.
$25 - can put food on the table when parents must stop work to be at their child's bedside
$50 - can put fuel in the family car, so children can get to and from cancer treatment.
$100 - can pay for phone calls, so children in hospital stay connected to family at home.
You can help too, by donating to my page. Any amount you can give makes a difference!
You can also support me by encouraging others to get involved, too. Please email the link to my page to your friends and family, or share it on social media.
I truly appreciate your generosity and support. Together we can help Redkite, help those who need it most.
