My Story

I am running the Blackmores half marathon September 2017 to raise much needed funds for MND Australia. Their work to combat this cruel & debilitating disease that currently has no effective treatment or cure is extremely important & is personal to me as my father died from this neurodegenerative disease a few year ago. MND (motor neuron disease) also know as ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis), is probably more well know through the highly publicised ALS bucket challenge that went viral a few years ago. I want to do what I can to help. But there is only so much I can do on my own. You can help too, by donating to my page. Any amount you can give makes a difference! You can also support me by encouraging others to get involved, too. Please email the link to my page to your friends and family, or share it on social media. Thank you for your generosity and support -- it means a lot to me. Together we can help MND Australia improve the quality of life for MND/ALS sufferers & ideally one day find a cure.

About my cause: MND Australia

Our Mission, as the national body for people living with MND, is to encourage collaboration with our members to:

- promote optimal care outcomes for people living with MND,

- enable research that will identify the cause and lead to better care, control, and ultimately a cure for MND.
