My Story

I am taking part in Blackmores Sydney Running Festival 2017 to raise much needed funds for Make-A-Wish. Their work is really important, and I want to do what I can to help. But there is only so much I can do on my own. You can help too, by donating to my page. Any amount you can give makes a difference! You can also support me by encouraging others to get involved, too. Please email the link to my page to your friends and family, or share it on social media. Thank you for your generosity and support -- it means a lot to me. Together we can help Make-A-Wish create the world we want to see.

About my team: ravenswood

A team of Ravenswood girls and teachers have decided to take on a challenge and run 10km, raising money for Make A Wish, an organisation that gives little children one last chance to fulfil a wish they've always wanted. Please help us support these children! Please donate and share this page. Any amount you can give makes a difference! Thank you for your generosity and support!

About my cause: Make-A-Wish

Since 1985, Make-A-Wish Australia has transformed the lives of children battling life-threatening medical conditions through the healing power of a wish.

Wishes give seriously ill children hope for the future, strength to face the challenges of their illness, and joy from their incredible wish experience. The whole wish journey is carefully designed to help build resilience within the child — enabling them to better cope with the fear and pain associated with their fight.

We’ve granted over 8,500 tailor-made wishes so far. With 2,000 children a year diagnosed with a life-threatening illness, our vision is to grant every eligible child’s wish.
