My Story

I am running the Sydney Marathon at the Blackmore's Running Festival 2017 to raise funds for Alzheimer's Australia NSW. After running my first Half Marathon earlier this year, I'm aiming to complete the 42km milestone in 4 hours or less. I'll be running the race with Jack Leggat, who I've spent the last few weekends training and talking tactics with, without any real idea of what we were getting ourselves into. You can help too, by donating to my page. Any amount you can give makes a difference, and I'll endeavour to take a few selfies along the way so you can wake up on Sunday morning and have a laugh at my dehydrated grimace. You can also support me by encouraging others to get involved, too. Please email the link to my page to your friends and family, or share it on social media. Thank you for your generosity and support -- it means a lot!

About my cause: Dementia Australia NSW Division

Dementia Australia is a unified, national charity for people, of all ages, living with all forms of dementia, their families and carers.

We represent the 425,416 Australians living with dementia and the estimated 299,842 Australians involved in their care.

We are the new voice of Alzheimer’s Australia.
