Why I am supporting AEIOU Foundation

My Story

On July 15,  a bunch of us with like minded ppl will be participating in the Champions Challenge and stepping up (literally) to make a difference in the lives of children with autism! Our team will undertake a physical & mental challenge, as we hike 42km, through rugged terrain, from Mt Glorious to the Gap.  The fund we raised will help AEIOU transform the future of children diagnosed with autism.I want to do what I can to help. But there is only so much I can do on my own. You can help too, by donating to my page. Any amount you can give makes a difference! You can also support me by encouraging others to get involved, too. Please email the link to my page to your friends and family, or share it on social media. Thank you for your generosity and support -- it means a lot to me. Together we can help AEIOU Foundation create the world we want to see.

About my team: Formaniacs

About Champions Challenge

Step up (literally) and make a difference in the life of children with autism!

Do A Trek, a 42km high endurance hike across South-East Queensland offers teams of four an opportunity to mentally and physically challenge themselves while raising funds for AEIOU Foundation.

Trekkers, with the support of AEIOU fundraising team, will be asked to raise a minimum of $2000 per team.

About my cause: AEIOU Foundation

One in 100 Australians are diagnosed with autism each and every year. For every 5 diagnoses, 4 will be boys. Autism has life-long impacts and there is no identifiable cause and no known cure.

For over 13 years, AEIOU Foundation has provided one of Australia’s most effective and affordable early intervention programs for children with autism aged two to six years. The AEIOU program has a significant impact on a child’s development, enabling greater opportunities for education and independent living and giving all individuals the best change to reach their full potential.

At AEIOU, we believe every child with autism should have the right to early intervention but, to achieve this, we need your help. Your support helps us to continue to grow our high quality, transformational program. Without your support, many children may miss out.

Together, we can create a lifetime of opportunities.
